Google Power Searching

After finishing the unit about power searching with Google, I definitely learned a lot more. Some big things I learned about where how to use WHOIS, Google Books and Google Scholar. When you use WHOIS while searching, it give you a lot of information on a certain website. It tells you who owns the website or domain. It also tells you what other websites they own. Although I probably wont use it, I still thought it was an interesting thing to learn about Google. Something I think I will use a lot is Google Books. Google Books is an "app" on Google you can use to look up books or magazines. It tells you ratings and the author on some books. Also, some books or magazines are available to read online while others have only previews. The final thing I learned about was Google Scholars. This "app" on Google can help you when writing research papers. Google Scholar searched for "scholarly" websites that have to do with you query. This can help me because when I use it, I know all my information with be true and won't be incorrect. Those were a few of the new things I found out about with Google power searching.
